- Three years experience as a mechanical/hydraulic technician
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must have experience in Non Destructive Testing and Magnetic Particle Inspection Testing.
Essential Duties:
- Installation, assembly, maintenance and testing for slinging and rigging equipment.
- Maintenance of plant and machinery
- Design and manufacture/assemble of rigging and lifting equipment to client requirements.
- Conduct inspection and testing of all types of structural and mechanical equipment.
- Conduct inspection and testing (mechanical and visual where applicable) of lifting equipment, including chain blocks, lever blocks, slings, chains, shackles, fittings etc.
- Collect and analyze data, and assemble and install mechanical assemblies.
- Produce inspection reports and maintain database of all inspection and repairs after testing has been done.
- Operate fixed and mobile test facilities
- Conduct maintenance of machines and plant – maintain site equipment and vehicle inventory.
- Ensure designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions.
- Provide input regarding matters that may affect the safety and health of all employees as well as the environment.
- Attend all required HSE training sessions and complete all the necessary paperwork as requested.

- Trade Qualifications as a Cabinet Maker – commercial and/or residential.

- Hand make timber joints

As the 1st Assistant Manager you will be responsible for the areas of a Second Assistant as well as the following, but not limited to:
- Lead and manager people in your crew

- Manage and implement the restaurant training system including Certificate II and Certificate III

- Location is in Karratha in the north-west of Australia in Western Australia.
- Salary will be AUD$26.02 per hour for 38 hours per week plus superannuation 9% with the opportunity to do overtime. 4 weeks annual leave per year.

4. Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

- Experience in the design of mechanical equipment such as rotating equipment, chutes, fabrications and piping.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Designs mechanical equipment, machinery, components, products for the mineral processing, Oil and Gas and construction industry.
- Develops specifications for manufacture, determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant or systems.

5. Job Title: Mechanical Fitter– Hydraulic Fluid Systems

The main duties and skills will be:
- Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment.
- Making hydraulic hose assemblies
- Assembling hydraulic circuits, including proper sealing of fittings
- Bolting components together
- Testing low pressure oil/fuel circuits
- Attaching pre-made electrical harnesses to vehicles
- Assembling trailer suspensions and braking systems
- Fitting stickers and decals to vehicles
Essential requirements for this position:
- Trade certificates where applicable as Mechanical Fitter
- Three years work experience as a mechanical fitter working with hydraulic fluid systems and hydraulic hoses.
