Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Room Attendant works as part of a team that is responsible to keep any Russell Inn properties including but not limited to guest rooms, lobbies, hallways, washrooms, conference rooms and any other public hotel area neat and clean while following all Health & Safety procedures. He/she makes beds, distributes clean towels and toiletries, replenishes all guest amenities, dusts furniture and accessories, and vacuums carpeting, draperies and upholstered furniture.
Housekeeping Room Attendants wash, clean, disinfect, and polish bathroom fixtures; wash windows, walls and ceilings; pick up debris and empty trash containers.
He/she informs the Front Desk and Maintenance of any items in the room that are missing, damaged or not in good working order.
The Housekeeping Room Attendant operates under minimal supervision with clearly defined work parameters and guidance is provided on new or non-routine items.
